CEAL@UNC thanks Nisha Hammel, Vice President of Reimbursement Policy & Population Health at AHCA/NCAL, for her recent presentation to the CEAL@UNC Strategic Advisors.
Her topic, “The Future of Value-Based Care and Assisted Living,” highlights related recent trends in assisted living, such as the growing role of Medicare Advantage plans and Accountable Care Organizations, and the increasing number of value-based care models relevant to the assisted living sector, such as the CMS Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) Model.
