Efforts in four Core Areas — consumer, practice, policy, and research — advance the well-being of those who live and work in assisted living. Projects in each core are complementary, assuring that practice and policy are informed by research, and that research is informed by practice and policy. Consumers are involved in all areas’ efforts, so that practice, policy, and research are community-engaged and responsive to consumer needs and desires.
