Dr. Sheryl Zimmerman, Executive Director of CEAL@UNC, will serve as the assisted living expert for the newly-funded National Dementia Workforce Study; CEAL@UNC advisors, affiliates, and friends are invited to inform the study.
The National Dementia Workforce Study, funded by the National Institute on Aging, is led by the University of Michigan and the University of California, San Francisco, to improve understanding of the strengths, challenges, and gaps of the dementia workforce in a variety of healthcare settings, including assisted living. Learn about the project from University of Michigan’s Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation, and about CEAL@UNC’s role in this press release. Provide input on the items for the study by December 15, 2023.
