Washington, D.C. – CEAL@UNC leadership, including Executive Director, Dr. Sheryl Zimmerman; Medical Consultant, Dr. Philip Sloane; and members of the Advisory Board met with staffers in the offices of Senators Casey (D-PA) and Braun (R-IN), the Chairman and Ranking Member, respectively, of the Senate Special Committee on Aging.
CEAL discussed four areas for potential action for advancing wellbeing in assisted living: clear communication, quality improvement, sustainable workforce, and access and affordability.
