CEAL@UNC Executive Director Dr. Sheryl Zimmerman recently presented at the American Assisted Living Nurses Association (AALNA) 2026 Annual Conference. Her presentation, “Medical and Mental Health Care in Assisted Living” discussed the increasing role of medical and mental health care provision in assisted living, related concerns and challenges, and recommendations to address evolving care needs.
