Washington, D.C. October 12, 2021 – The Center for Excellence in Assisted Living (CEAL) presented its inaugural Award for Excellence in Care and Support, honoring the entire Assisted Living Workforce in recognition of their exceptional resident care and commitment during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We’re grateful for all the hard work that the Assisted Living Workforce has done during the pandemic and wanted to display our gratitude for their efforts through this esteemed new award,” said Lindsay Schwartz, Ph.D., FGSA, CEAL Chair.
CEAL Vice Chair Doug Pace presented the award on behalf of the workforce in a special presentation during the 15th Annual NCAL Day. Accepting it on behalf of the workforce was Gail Sheridan, Executive Vice President, Lifesprk and AHCA/NCAL Workforce Committee Chair. Certificates of Appreciation were given out to all during the presentation and are available to download to be given out to AL staff at theceal.org.
